TuffDrive eUSB, 10-pin modules
Virtium TuffDrive® eUSB embedded USB SSDs are ideal solutions for networking, embedded and industrial applications that require a modest amount of storage and utilize Altera, Cavium, Freescale, Renesas, Xilinx or other chipsets that may not have an integrated SATA interface. Even if a host system does have integrated SATA, many engineers find embedded USB modules beneficial for storing system configuration information and for providing a backup repository for data in DRAM in the event of a system-level power-down.
TuffDrive® eUSB 10-pin embedded USB modules come in standard 2.54mm or low profile 2mm pitch connector configurations, feature sequential read/write speeds of 37/35 MB/s, come in both commercial (0° to +70°C) and industrial (-40° to +85°C) temperature configurations and meet MIL-810 environmental standards.
