The BMR456 is our 2nd generation of digital isolated DC/DC converter in a quarter-brick format. This product is available for the telecom market with a typical input range from 36-75Vin and also available as a variant for the data center applications with an input range of 40-60Vin.
These converters can deliver up to 468W and have a typical high efficiency up to 96.4% at half load 12Vout. Isolation is at 2250VDC.
The BMR456 series operates in an ambient operating temperature range from -40°C up to +125°C and has a mean time between failure (MTBF) with over 2.9 million hours.
Standard features for this model are the digital interface which is available via PMBus®, paralleling through droop load sharing.
An optional feature is the ability to meet the industry standard 5 pin layout for intermediate bus architectures by removing the digital header.
The BMR456 is also available as baseplate option.
