The FU7371 is a highly integrated dual-core motor control MCU combining Fortior’s dedicated Motor Engine (ME) with a 32-bit RISC-V core. The ME core integrates hardware-based FOC and CORDIC functions, while the RISC-V core handles parameter configuration, communication and application-specific processing. This parallel architecture enables high-performance real-time control while keeping sufficient processing resources available for the customer application.
Designed especially for compact closed-loop motor drives, the FU7371 integrates a 180° AMR position sensor, three 12-bit ADCs, six configurable operational amplifiers, seven comparators and two 4N MOSFET pre-drivers with a high-side floating voltage of up to 100 V. External position feedback can be connected via QEP interfaces, while CAN/CAN-FD, UART, LIN, SPI and I²C provide flexible system connectivity. With its high level of integration, the FU7371 is particularly suited for compact two-phase FOC stepper drives and other space- and cost-sensitive servo applications.
