BLDC Motor Controller [&] Driver, 5A/24V
The TMCM-1640 is a small low cost controller and driver module for universal brushless DC motor applications. Two different commutation modes are possible: Block commutation with hall-sensors or Field Oriented Control with incremental encoder or interpolated with hall sensors. Depending on the commutation mode the TMCM-1640 works with velocity and/or position control. The module can be used in standalone operation or remote controlled via serial interface (RS485 or USB) using the Trinamic Motion Control Language TMCL. Its small form factor 42 x 42 [mm] allows for mounting directly on a motor (NEMA 17 mounting holes)..
The PC based software development environment TMCL-IDE for the Trinamic Motion Control Language (TMCL™) can be downloaded free of charge from the TRINAMIC website. Predefined high level TMCL commands guarantee a rapid development of motion control applications. Communication traffic is kept very low since all time critical operations, e.g. ramp calculation are performed onboard.
