Stepper Motor Controller & Driver, 6A/48V, USB/RS485, ABN, TMCL

The IKS-16 offers the possibility of operating stepper motors up to 6A at 24V or 48V and has 24V compatible inputs and outputs that can also be used as analog input. The motor can be monitored using an ABN invcremental encoder.

Communication with the control takes place either via RS485 or USB.

The power supply is possible via two separate inputs for IO and motor current; A separate enable input for the power diver provides additional security.

The compact IKS-16 is available  as open frame PCB or fully assembled in a DIN rail housing.

As an option, customer-specific IO extensions can be plugged in to meet special requirements (e.g. current interfaces 4…20mA).

The IKS-16 can be controlled via a host using the TMCL protocol. Another option is to control it using scripts, so that it can operate completely without a master.

For the first steps only a power supply, a stepper motor, a USB-cable and a PC are necessary.
