The TMC5240-EVAL-KIT is a set of one MCU board "Landungsbruecke", the bridge board "Eselsbruecke" and one TMC5240-EVAL driver evaluation board.
It allows evaluation of the TMC5240 in combination with the TRINAMIC evaluation eco system. The TMCL-IDE PC software can be downloaded free of charge from the ADI Trinamic website.
TMC5240-EVAL-KIT uses the standard schematic and offers several options in order to test different modes of operation.
The TMC5240 is a Smart Driver for Two-Phase Bipolar Stepper Motors up to 2.0A RMS (3.0A peak).
For diagnosis all signals between MCU board and TMC5240 are accessible with probes on the "Eselsbruecke" bridge board.
To simplify the transfer to your own processor platform the MCU board can be disconnected.
Additionally required is a Power Supply (max. 36V).
The bare evaluation board TMC5240-EVAL is also available without MCU-board.
