The FD6636 from Fortior is an integrated three-phase gate driver designed to control external MOSFET and IGBT power stages. Three independent half-bridge drivers provide the high-side and low-side gate signals required for a three-phase inverter. With an operating voltage of up to 600 V and a gate drive current of +0,21 A/-0,36 A, the device is suitable for high-voltage motor drive applications.
The FD6636 supports 3,3 V and 5 V compatible logic inputs and integrates VCC and VBS undervoltage lockout (UVLO), cross-conduction prevention, deadtime insertion and input signal filtering.
For additional protection, an integrated over-current protection circuit can disable all six gate outputs in the event of a fault. A dedicated Enable input allows the complete three-phase power stage to be shut down by the controller.
