The FD6187 from Fortior is an integrated three-phase gate driver designed to control external MOSFET power stages. Three independent half-bridge drivers provide the high-side and low-side gate signals required for a three-phase inverter. With an operating voltage of up to 180 V and a gate drive current of ±0,8 A, the device is particularly suitable for compact BLDC and PMSM motor drives with external power MOSFETs.
The gate driver operates from a supply voltage of 5 V to 22 V. Its 3,3 V and 5 V compatible logic inputs allow direct interfacing with a wide range of motor-control MCUs and controllers.
For reliable operation, the FD6187 integrates undervoltage lockout (UVLO), cross-conduction prevention and deadtime insertion. An integrated input filter suppresses short disturbance pulses at the control inputs, improving the noise immunity of the power stage.
