Stepper Motor Controller [&] Driver 0.7A/24V with RS485/S[&]D

The TMCM-1210 is a single axis stepper motor controller/driver module with sensorless load dependent current control. The device is powered by Trinamic StallGuard2™, CoolStep™, SpreadCycle™ chopper and StealthChop™ technology and has a SixPoint™ ramp generator. The TMCM-1210 is capable of driving up to 0.7A (RMS) of current per phase (with proper heatsinking). It is designed for an operating voltage of 7…30V. The device provides a RS485 interface. An integrated protocol processor supplies a high level TMCL communication.

The PC based software development environment TMCL-IDE for the Trinamic Motion Control Language (TMCL™) can be downloaded free of charge from the TRINAMIC website. Predefined high level TMCL commands guarantee a rapid development of motion control applications. Communication traffic is kept very low since all time critical operations, e.g. ramp calculation are performed onboard.
