The VLP-series encoders are high performance position sensors designed specifically for harsh environment and particularly suited for a broad range of aerospace and defense applications. They are some of the most accurate kit encoders in the market, providing an exceptional performance to size ratio. Tested to meet the Mil-std-810 and fully immune to magnetic fields. They can be customized with different coatings, connectors, and wires and ENV conditions in accordance with specific requirements of each customer and application.

The holistic structure of the VLP-series Electric Encoder™ makes it unique. Its output reading is the averaged outcome of the entire circumference area of the rotor. This inherent design characteristic provides the VLP-series encoder with outstanding precision as well as a tolerant mechanical mounting.
The absence of components such as ball bearings, flexible couplers, glass discs, light sources & detectors, along with very low power consumption, enables the VLP-series encoders to deliver virtually failure-free performance.
