The FD6288 from Fortior is an integrated three-phase gate driver designed to control external MOSFET power stages. Three independent half-bridge drivers provide the high-side and low-side gate signals required for a three-phase inverter. With an operating voltage of up to 250 V and a gate drive current of +1,5 A/-1,8 A, the device is suitable for high-voltage and high-speed motor drive applications.
The gate driver operates from a supply voltage of 5 V to 20 V. Its 3,3 V and 5 V compatible logic inputs allow direct interfacing with a wide range of motor-control MCUs and controllers.
For reliable operation, the FD6288 integrates VCC and VBS undervoltage lockout (UVLO), cross-conduction prevention and 200 ns deadtime. An integrated input filter suppresses short disturbance pulses at the control inputs, improving the noise immunity of the power stage.
