TMCM-1240 is a single axis motor controller/driver board for 2-phase bipolar stepper motors. It supports SixPoint™ ramps in addition to linear ramps. TMCM-1240 is capable of driving up to 2A RMS motor current and is designed for an operating voltage of 10…30V DC supply voltage. The device provides a Step/Dir interface, an integrated SensOstep™ encoder and support for external encoder.
The PC based software development environment TMCL-IDE for the Trinamic Motion Control Language (TMCL™) can be downloaded free of charge from the TRINAMIC website. Predefined high level TMCL commands guarantee a rapid development of motion control applications. Communication traffic is kept very low since all time critical operations, e.g. ramp calculation are performed onboard.
A CANopen firmware is optionally available.
